13 piecesA Partnership That Grew With the Event
Our relationship with In Business Media and its annual Women of Achievement Awards began five years ago with a single assignment: editing a video for the event.
Over the years, our involvement steadily expanded. What started as post-production editing grew to include pre-produced video content, event-day filming, and red carpet coverage.
By our fifth year working on the awards program, our responsibilities had grown from supporting individual production elements to designing, directing, and operating the event's entire technical production.
Telling the Stories Behind the Awards
An awards ceremony is ultimately about the people being recognized. For the Women of Achievement Awards, a significant part of our responsibility was producing the video content that introduced, celebrated, and honored those individuals.
Our largest individual film production centered on the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
We filmed interviews with the honoree and three of her colleagues, gathering personal perspectives on her accomplishments, influence, and nearly four-decade career. We also incorporated archival photographs and video spanning her childhood through the different stages of her professional life.
The result was a cinematic tribute designed to tell a deeply personal story and celebrate the significance of a lifetime of achievement.
Beyond the Lifetime Achievement film, we produced 14 individual walk-up videos for the event's honorees.
Each recipient was invited to answer a single question: "What does achievement mean to you?"
The honorees recorded their responses and provided the footage to our production team. We transformed those individual recordings into a coordinated series of branded videos, creating a consistent presentation while preserving each honoree's personal perspective.
Together, these productions gave the awards program a visual storytelling component that went well beyond standard presentations and announcements.
Building the Experience Before the Event
Our production work also extended into the event's marketing and preparation.
We created a two-minute promotional video using footage from previous Women of Achievement Awards ceremonies. Designed for use throughout the event's marketing campaign, the video helped communicate the atmosphere and significance of the annual celebration.
For the live program, we developed the music playlist used throughout the evening, adding another element of coordination between the event's content and its technical execution.
We also designed the event's live video presentation system, including image magnification (IMAG), projection, and screen presentation.
Using vMix, our team managed the video switching and presentation workflow, integrating live camera coverage with the program's video content and other visual elements.
These responsibilities connected the work happening before the event with the experience unfolding in the ballroom. The promotional content introduced the celebration, the individual films told the honorees' stories, and the technical production brought those elements together during the live program.
Designing the Entire Technical Experience
For the 2026 Women of Achievement Awards, 726 Studios took responsibility for the event's complete technical production, beginning with the design of the audiovisual environment itself.
Our team developed the technical requirements for the event, including stage design, lighting design, uplighting, fixture selection, equipment specifications, and placement throughout the venue.
Every technical element needed to serve the overall program, from how the stage would appear to the audience to how presentations, video content, cameras, microphones, and lighting would work together during the show.
We translated those requirements into a coordinated production plan and worked directly with the client, hotel personnel, and production vendors to bring that plan to life.
From Production Design to Show Execution
Our involvement continued through the physical setup and preparation of the event.
We oversaw audiovisual load-in and installation, coordinated equipment placement and configuration, established the technical control position, and ensured the production systems were prepared for the program.
Once the event began, our crew assumed responsibility for operating the technical production.
Led by Chris Weir as Show Runner and Technical Director, the team included an A1 audio engineer, A2 audio technician, lighting controller, two camera operators, a project manager serving as the client liaison, and a dedicated Voice of God announcer.
Working under centralized show direction, the crew managed audio, lighting, video, camera coverage, announcements, and technical cues throughout the awards program.
Our responsibilities also extended to red carpet production, coordinating event coverage alongside the main ballroom program.
Capturing the Event Through Photography and Video
Alongside our technical production responsibilities, Two Second Media provided professional event photography and videography throughout the Women of Achievement Awards.
Our coverage documented the event beyond the stage, including the red carpet, the awards program, and the moments that made the celebration meaningful.
By integrating photography and video coverage with the broader production operation, we were able to coordinate the visual documentation of the event alongside its technical execution.
This combination of services gave In Business Media a single production partner for both delivering the live experience and capturing it.
One Production Partner, From Concept to Execution
The Women of Achievement Awards demonstrates an important part of our approach to event production: technical design, equipment, personnel, and show execution do not have to come from a single supplier to operate as one cohesive production.
726 Studios can design the technical environment, establish equipment requirements, coordinate vendors, provide specialized production resources, and direct the crew responsible for bringing the event to life.
For In Business Media, that meant having one production partner responsible for the technical experience, from initial design decisions through the final moments of the show.
Five Years of Growing Responsibility
The Women of Achievement Awards illustrates how a production partnership can evolve.
We began by editing a video. As our relationship with In Business Media developed, our work expanded into pre-production, filming, red carpet coverage, and eventually comprehensive technical production management.
Five years later, we were responsible for designing and directing the technical execution of the event.
For us, the value of that progression is not simply the expanded scope of work. It demonstrates the kind of long-term collaboration we aim to build with our clients: providing the production services they need today while remaining capable of taking on greater responsibility as their events evolve.
